Temporary Staff, Procurement

The position is responsible for assisting the Sourcing Team in providing the following services :

• Provide advisory role to Business Unit on the procurement of goods and services activities of medium risk and complexity.
• Assess, develop, and implement both long- and short-term plans that support Business Units in the procurement of goods and services.
• Collaborate with Business Units to ensure early procurement involvement in developing purchasing strategic plans.
• Assist in establishing, executing, and tracking procurement project plans.
• Support Business Units in their procurement activities within the assigned location or geography.
• Participate in procurement activities in support of multiple Business Units when required.
• Communicate and / or negotiate with Business Units, suppliers, and the management team.
• Prepare presentations for procurement-related activities.
• Ensure that MDEC policies, processes, and guidelines are understood and adhered to.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
