Job Purpose
The health project officer (state) is responsible for coordinating and executing public health projects as well as education and awareness programmes; health promotion campaigns; and advocacy campaigns related to cancer and non-communicable diseases; and coordinate support services.
Current Projects
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Identify and establish working relationships with stakeholders relevant to the specific project
Develop, review, and verify educational materials on cancer and NCD
Carry out or coordinate cancer intervention programmes within the state, including providing cancer awareness talks or workshops in schools, universities, or underserved communities
Represent the Society in state level activities on health
Plan and coordinate support group events; promote and recruit participants for events hosted at the state office; facilitate and forward referrals from walk-in and other patients to NCSM HQ support services; along with the psychosocial support team, organise monthly events and webinars; manage logistics for sessions held in the state office, including recruitment, setup and preparation

Range : RM2,800 - RM3,500 per month
