Shipping Clerk II

Ships completed units and parts to customers utilizing various carriers in a timely manner. Works under direct supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verifies model and serial numbers and item description on the unit against shop traveller accompanying the unit. Notifies the requestor if numbers do not match.
• Packages / inspect material appropriately for shipment.
• Completes the item to stock location on computer. Looks up stock number to identify sales order and shipping instructions. Verifies information with appropriate territory representative (TR).
• Prepares necessary shipping documents manually or on automated systems and performs necessary system transactions as needed.
• Coordinates pick up and tracks shipments of various freight carriers.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of shipping area.
• Filing and scanning of shipment document.
• Investigates and / or fixes issues / problems.
• Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
