This role provides resources to meet individual needs and supports decisions and financial well-being for the future. The Trade Processing Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing regular transfers, payments, trade transactions and wholesale card activity. Responsibilities

Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers, including payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a subject matter expert (SME) and recommend process improvements Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed Develop understanding of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others to accomplish objectives Assess risk when making business decisions, uphold the firm’s reputation, safeguard Citi and its clients and assets, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, apply ethical judgment, and escalate or report control issues with transparency The position operates in accordance with the Pakistan standard time zone Qualifications

Previous relevant experience preferred Fundamental understanding of financial industry regulations Effective verbal and written communication skills Analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively Education

Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent experience Additional Job Description

The person will be responsible for supporting the following product as Maker / Checker : Guarantees (including shipping guarantees) processing – Low volume Line booking Guarantees usually have language / local regulations Not processed in TRIMS Exports – all including LC, collections, bills, doc check, payment etc. – Volumes are very low Advising (No confirmation) Export Collection Advising, document check and payment we can centralize with the current EMEA teams Loans / discounting – all types whether under LC, TR, check / invoice discounting etc. This shall be the activity which shall require more work due to its nature.
