Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. Lead strategic growth initiatives in the interior design industry across retail, office, and exhibition sectors, driving market expansion and revenue generation. This senior role offers opportunities to leverage extensive business development experience, build strategic partnerships, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities. You’ll contribute to the company’s strategic direction and work on interior design projects including fit-out, renovation, F&B, and exhibition spaces.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and growth areas in the interior design sector, particularly in retail, office, and exhibition segments.
- Business Strategy Development : Develop robust business development strategies aligned with company goals, identifying target segments and customer profiles for market penetration.
- Partnership Building Excellence : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with interior design companies and relevant stakeholders to expand market network and visibility.
- Relationship Management : Leverage existing industry relationships and establish new ones to strengthen the company’s position.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with sales, marketing, and research & development to align business development strategies across departments.
- Deal Negotiation Leadership : Lead complex negotiations for partnerships, distribution agreements, and opportunities with favorable terms and strategic alignment.
- Revenue Growth Driving : Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, channels, and markets to drive substantial revenue growth and market expansion.
- Sales Strategy Implementation : Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote interior design services across sectors.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
- Strategic Reporting : Present regular reports to senior management outlining progress, metrics, challenges, and recommendations.
Qualifications
Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related field.
