QA Supervisor

Requirement / Qualification :

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Age range 30 years ago above

3–5 years of experience in QC / QA roles in a manufacturing environment (preferably metal stamping & injection molding).

Strong knowledge of quality tools : FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP.

Proficient in using measurement instruments and gauging techniques.

Familiar with ISO / IATF standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.

Attention to detail and high commitment to quality.

Capable of handling pressure and making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities : Report to QA Manager

Supervise and coordinate daily QC activities across metal stamping and plastic injection molding lines.

Ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.

Oversee in-process and final inspection of parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, CMM, vision systems, etc.

Implement sampling plans, SPC, and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone diagram).

Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and audit documentation in line with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards.

Support internal / external audits and customer visits.

Lead and train quality inspectors, ensuring consistent application of procedures and best practices.

Evaluate team performance and provide guidance.

Investigate and address non-conforming materials and products.

Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers for corrective / preventive actions (CAPA).

Initiate quality improvement projects to reduce scrap, rework, and customer complaints.

Promote a culture of quality and accountability on the shop floor.

Interface with customers on quality issues and corrective action reports.

Ensure timely resolution of complaints and product returns
