Penerangan pekerjaan5+ years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry Extensive knowledge of construction cost management, contract administration and project controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and project stakeholders Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field Career development opportunities Flexible working arrangements Health and wellbeing initiatives
About the role
MH Theme Design Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time, permanent position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and analysing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and feasibility studies for construction projects
- Negotiating and finalising contract terms with clients and suppliers
- Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures and providing regular financial reports
- Identifying potential cost savings and making recommendations to improve project profitability
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors within the team
