About the role
Northeast Precision SDN BHD is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Officer to join our dynamic team in Bukit Minyak, Penang. As a Senior Account Officer, you will play a key role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting department, contributing to the company's overall financial management and strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts, analyse financial data, and identify trends and insights to support business decisions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and recommendations
- Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
