Senior Credit Control Executive

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum Degree in Business Admin, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy or its equivalent. Prefer 3 – 5 years of related working experience. Good analytical thinking and basic financial analysis skills. Able to plan job with least supervision. Computer literate especially in Microsoft Excel & Word. Some basic credit control & legal proceeding knowledge. Good inter-personal skills to liaise with customers, external auditor, banker & solicitor. Familiarity with credit systems or automation tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
- Responsible of creating and implementing policies regarding the review of customers credit history and the granting. Including but not limited to the following :
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and payment behavior regularly.
- Analyze trends in payment delays and bad debts to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Oversee the accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections.
- Prepare updated debtor ageing reports for various Business Unit.
- Coordinate with related parties to resolve credit and billing issues.
- Monitor closely overdue / problematic accounts by engaging with customers and / or salespersons, send reminder, provide settlement solution, and proceed legal recourse if necessary.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes and improve customer experience.
- Participate in performing tasks on “special projects” as requested.
- Arrange for cheque / cash / other documents’ collection.
