Our client, a leading bank in Asia with a global network, is looking for consultants to be part of the project. The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams that provide business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing, and standardizing technology systems and banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and develop projects / Change Requests, ensuring deliverables are of good quality.
  • Participate in user requirements gathering, provide impact analysis and effort estimation.
  • Develop functionalities to cater for business requirements using Windows Scripting, SQL.
  • Design and build the Control‑M jobs for batch processing.
  • Carry out unit testing and SIT on developed functions.
  • Support UAT cycle, troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes.
  • Raise remedy ticket for required changes in controlled environments.
  • Migrate deliverables objects using Aldon migration tools to UAT / Production environment.
  • Provide proper documentation for all deliverables.

Mandatory Skills

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in a techno‑functional role in the financial domain.
  • Well versed in Oracle OFSAA 8.0.7 / Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Hyperion Planning / Hyperion Essbase / OBIEE.
  • Experience with AIX7.1 / Oracle 11g and 12c / Oracle Essbase and Windows 2008.
  • Language : PL / SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Essbase scripting, OBIEE RPD development.
  • Environment : AIX7.1, Windows 2008 for Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
  • Good communication skills, working with various teams including users.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast‑paced and deadline‑oriented environment.
