Responsibilities
- Be part of Managed Services Operation Centre Team operating on 24 x 7 hours including weekends and public holidays.
- Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, system software and system management tools.
- Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Respond to the incoming enquiries / incident / service request (call, e-mail etc.), resolving and closing it within SLA.
- Prepare monthly managed services report.
- Perform monitoring (serving as NOC functions) for health and utilization status of systems and compute resources, network and security devices, and system availability.
- Perform 2nd level troubleshooting.
- Liaise with vendors, partners and other IT personnel in trouble shooting and problem resolution.
- Proven ability to multi-tasking, prioritize tasks assigned and deliver results in a timely manner in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or industry certificationsDeep understanding of cloud computing technologies and emerging computing trends which include laaS, PaaS, SaaS cloud offering.Understanding of common database technologies such as SQL Database / Server, Oracle, MySQL.Strong problem-solving skill, technical writing and verbal communication skills.Ability to think strategically about troubleshooting and solutions to technical issues and incidents.Willingness and ability to work with teams, ability to build relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style and ability to share knowledge.What’s next?
