Executive / Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

T Y Lin International Sdn Bhd, a leading global C&S consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Executive / Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time position is crucial in delivering complex structural engineering projects for our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects
• Preparing detailed structural drawings, specifications and design calculations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers and site personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery
• To attend project / site meetings, design review meeting and meetings with relevant authorities.
• To conduct site inspections.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Identifying and implementing innovative design solutions to optimize costs and construction efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with company ISO requirements, relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Carry out the role as reviewer for project documentation for conformity and quality assurance.
• Contributing to the development of in-house design tools and best practices
