Job Description
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring full adherence to MFRS and statutory requirements.
Execute the consolidation of Group financial statements and guarantee the punctual delivery of both management and statutory financial reports.
Ensure the precision and reliability of all account reconciliation, supporting schedules, and financial statement disclosures.
Direct the development of the annual budget, perform detailed variance analysis, and prepare ongoing rolling forecasts.
Deliver predictive financial analysis to inform corporate strategy, refinancing activities, and capital investment choices.
Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for key business drivers such as traffic volume, toll revenue, and capital framework.
Uphold adherence to all legal, tax, and regulatory mandates, including the Companies Act, MFRS, and IRB regulations.
Act as the primary contact for external auditors, tax consultants, banking partners, and regulatory bodies.
Design, implement, and oversee strong internal control systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and risk management protocols.
Assess and ensure ongoing compliance with all concession agreement stipulations and financing commitments.
Oversee corporate cash flow, liquidity positioning, and working capital to sustainably fund operational and financing needs.
Track debt covenant compliance, interest expense, and potential refinancing strategies.
Collaborate with Group Treasury on the structuring of sukuk / loan facilities and in negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
Guide, mentor, and develop the Finance team to foster a high-performance culture and ensure clear accountability.
Partner closely with operational and project departments to enhance process efficiency and maintain rigorous cost control.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of digital tools within the finance function.
