Engineer, Quality and Reliability (QRE)

Responsibilities

Create, review & implement quality assurance standard and procedures.

Plan, conduct and monitor reliability testing and inspection of products to ensure finished product quality. Review the implementation and efficiency of quality reliability test and inspection systems.

Collect & analyze statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.

Prepare reliability test reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities to customers.

Supervise and guide reliability operation operators and technicians. Identify their training needs and organize training to meet quality standards.

For new customer or new package set-up, need to establish new Control Plan, Work Instructions and provide required tools and equipment’s for QA Reliability Test.

To plan, lead & execute quality improvement activities related to QA Reliability Test.

Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time by superior.

Job Requirement :

• Preferably minimum 2 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry. However, fresh graduates with strong academic background and interest in reliability engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledgeable in 8D methodology, sampling plan, IATF 16949 : 2016, ISO 9001 : 2015 is an advantage
• Good understanding of reliability testing methodologies and standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q100).
• Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and tools such as FMEA, FTIR, X-ray, SEM, etc.
• Knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies including SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; experience with statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab) is an added advantage.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to present technical findings and reports confidently in cross-functional and management review meetings.
• A team player with high adaptability to dynamic work environments and evolving tasks.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Panglima Garang (FIZ), Selangor.
