Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities

To prepare deliverables such as technical drawing, layout drawing, engineering data and other relevant documentations.
To coordinate & provide technical support for project activities.
To involve in the design, quality assurance, supervised installation & commissioning.
Conduct site visits and technical evaluations to ensure proper mechanical system implementation.
Assist in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause identification for mechanical issues.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
Ensure mechanical works comply with industry codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Qualification & Competency

Possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and fabrication processes.

Familiarity with QA / QC procedures, industry standards, and regulations such as ASME, API, ISO 9001, and AWS.

Experience in conducting inspections, testing, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.

Ability to prepare and review QA / QC documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Material Approval Submissions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Proficient in both spoken and written Mandarin , English and Malay. Must have relevant experience and able to deal with China supplier.

Excellent communication and reporting skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced

Willing to travel locally and overseas based on project basis.
