Position Overview – Team Member
The Finance Digital Transformation Lead is a pivotal figure in the organization’s evolution towards digital excellence within the finance function. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking finance professional with deep experience in accounting systems, enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions, and advanced analytics tools. This team will spearhead digital transformation projects that modernize and optimize core finance operations, ensuring seamless adoption and continuous improvement throughout the accounting cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic finance digital transformation initiatives, from conceptualization through to successful implementation and sustained adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, operations, and business units to define transformation objectives and delivery roadmaps.
- Oversee project management activities : establish timelines, allocate resources, manage budgets, and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Champion change management efforts to drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Systems Implementation and Optimization
Direct the end-to-end implementation of Accounting Systems, EPM platforms, Consolidation systems including requirements gathering, vendor selection, system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support.Customize system workflows, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.Continuously evaluate system usage and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to maximize value.Increase the use case of the tools and platforms particularly in the areas of centralizing data inputs and depository such as leases, warehouse space, unutilized space, treasury loans details.Training, Coaching, and Adoption
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to empower finance teams with the knowledge and skills needed to leverage new systems and tools.Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to finance staff, supporting their development in digital competencies and data-driven decision making.Facilitate workshops, webinars, and one‑on‑one sessions to address challenges and foster best practices in system usage.Monitor adoption metrics and user feedback, iterating training approaches for optimal engagement and performance.Analytics Tools Enablement
Lead the deployment and utilization of advanced analytics platforms, including Tableau and Power BI, to transform financial data into actionable insights.Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations that drive strategic decision making.Train finance professionals in data modeling, visualization techniques, and self‑service analytics.Promote data literacy and analytical thinking throughout the finance function.Accounting Process Improvement
Evaluate and redesign accounting processes ranging from payment approvals to overhead management, cost allocation, and revenue recognition.Improve accrual accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.Drive enhancements in property, plant & equipment (PP&E) accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and impairment reviews.Redesign the lease accounting workflows to be in line with relevant regulations and standards.Streamline payment processing systems for efficiency, control, and auditability.Evaluate and improve the general ledger function, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.Data Support and Validation
Ensure integration between financial systems and other business platforms to enable unified data flow and streamlined reporting.Develop validation procedures to ensure accurate inputs of data across all financial platforms.Work in partnership with the Finance Systems Team to ensure accurate data flow.Qualifications
