Assistant Finance Manager (Manufacturing based in SubangJaya)

Job Summary

Responsible in supervising and coordinating all activities of Finance Department in line with the department and company's objective and mission including maintaining a full set of accounts, financial & management reporting, financial & tax planning and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations and sufficient cash flow.
• Oversee and manage the company's finance, accounting, and tax functions, including treasury, cash-flow management, and auditing activities.
• Manage end-to-end finance functions, month-end closing activities, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Management.
• Manage tax planning, savings strategies, and funding strategies for development projects and banking facilities.
• Ensuring all approved policies, procedures and procedures [related to Finance] are disseminated in a proper and timely manner within the department and where applicable, throughout the department / company.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, statutory bodies and other third parties in the normal cause of duties
• Ensure the timely preparation of all papers, reports and relevant documents for the department / company, statutory bodies and any others as and when required
• Provide solution and / or improvements towards the overall departments activities.
• Undertake all other assignments and duties as instructed by the Management.
