Manager, Employee Engagement is primarily responsible for driving bankwide employee engagement (EE) by conducting an annual EE survey and executing activities based on the survey. The EE Manager will leverage insights from the survey to drive consistent execution across the 3 EE pillars – Engage , Appreciate and Wellbeing , with attention to detail. The EE Manager will deploy critical thinking to quickly pick up and drive thought leadership content, reporting and activities through the employee engagement and university outreach calendar.

- Craft the Employee Engagement Survey in Workday, launch to bankwide employees, drive participation, collate the results and present the insights / findings to senior management, divisions and departments.
- Craft the Employee Engagement Calendar together with respective EE committees for various activities and drive a high level of consistent execution for all activities, together with the Employee Engagement champions in each respective division / region nationwide.
Employer Branding – Internal
Strengthen the Bank’s position as preferred employer of choice for existing employees by
Craft and ensure timely and accurate dissemination of all EE related communications including but not limited to Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Invitations and all other EE calendar activities.Source and liaise for EE vendors, including but not limited to Brown Bag Lunch & Learn speakers ensuring best cost efficiency, reliability and value, whilst keeping in mind the partners we have.Manage the employee wellbeing vendor to ensure consistent usage amongst employees and to loop back any aggregated feedback to vendor to continuously improve app functions and ensure the app meets the evolving needs of employees.Manage the EE budget, ensuring cost efficiency and maximization of budget in the best interests of the organisation.Conduct market research on EE best practices, benchmarking and reviewing latest EE developments / trends to consider for implementation.Track attendance, compile feedback and results for each EE activity for inclusion in internal / external reporting including but not limited to Senior Management Committee presentations, Annual and Sustainability Reports, sustainability assessments and regulatory reporting (BNM).Drive and shape the diversity & inclusion and sustainability stories whilst seeking opportunities to engage our diverse and multi-generational workforce to foster a sense of belonging and an equitable workplace based on merit and performance through the EE calendar.Drive HLB Sports Club activities together with the Engagement Champions via bankwide announcements and tracking of activities monthly.Employer Branding – External
Strengthen the Bank’s position as preferred employer of choice for potential employees by
Drive the university outreach calendar of activities and work with EE Executive to track and provide insights into number of resumes passed to BPs from uni outreach efforts – screened, interviewed, hired. Provide quarterly update to Head, EE.Track and provide insights into internship interviews including but not limited to – number of interns interviewed and indicated interest to apply for full time role upon graduation. Provide quarterly update to Head, EE.Work with vendors to ensure recruitment collaterals are up to date including but not limited to videos, posters, buntings, booklets, backdrops, props.Align, coordinate and brief manpower for on-ground events including but not limited to career fairs.Ensure all jobs are up to date on job boards, internal tracker and for all career fairs and other outreach activities.Help create and design communications for recruitment including but not limited to LinkedIn posters, brand videos of our people and roles etc.Help out on other assigned duties when required e.g. employer branding activities such as but not limited to career fairs, speaking engagements, candidate interviews etc.Other – People Announcements, Reporting & Thought Leadership Content
Craft the People Announcements to send out bankwide.Drive the HR messaging and compile the information from data owners for Annual and Sustainability Reporting.Craft thought leadership articles on career mobility and other topics as and when required.Managerial (team / group responsibilities)

Education / Qualification
Graduate with CGPA 3.2 or equivalentNative English skills – written and spokenStrong project management, analytical, critical thinking & presentation skillsMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (intermediate level)Experience
5 years and above at managerial level in management consulting, public relations or similar roleAble to demonstrate high level of critical thinking (anticipate, question, pivot and plan) and drive (pro-active) to conceptualize and execute activities / events to a high level of finesse consistentlyAble to work on ad-hoc projects that may extend outside of key responsibilities and accountabilities stated here. For example, working with Graduate recruitment team to work on candidate interviews as assignedSpecial Skills
