Finance Assistant – Accounts Receivable (AR)
Responsibilities
Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and on time. Record and update payments received in the accounting system. Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up accordingly. Assist in reconciling accounts receivable balances. Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and related documents. Liaise with internal departments and external clients on billing and payment matters. Support the month-end closing process and preparation of financial reports. Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in finance / accounting (fresh graduates may be considered). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
