Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Lead - Sortation Centre, SPX Express (Penang)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily Sorting Centre operations, including physical processes, mainly receiving, sorting, and outbound activities
  • Involved in scheduling, staffing, workflow management, and monitoring of key performance metrics
  • Manage multiple stakeholders by coordinating with the manpower provider, and internal operations teams
  • Ensure operations meet targeted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through general management, while demonstrating problem-solving and employee coaching / training skills where necessary
  • Provide daily data reports and identify potential improvements to existing processes to reduce bottlenecks and enhance team efficiency

Requirements

  • Working Location : 1666, Lorong Perusahaan Maju 8, Kawasan Perusahaan Perai, 13600 Perai Pulau Pinang
  • Working pattern : 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
  • SPM or Diploma in the related fields.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to promote collaboration and teamwork across departments and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is encouraged
