About the Role

We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join a growing development team. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS), and requires strong backend logic, clean coding practices, and a passion for solving complex technical problems.

As a junior-level developer, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. You will also engage in process improvements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to platform architecture and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web and application-based backend systems.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Perform feasibility analysis and optimization through structured planning.
  • Contribute to platform architecture, scalability, and design decisions.
  • Write and execute test cases, assist in QA processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, documentation, and system reliability.

Core Technical Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of MEAN stack : MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS
  • Backend programming experience in one or more languages : JavaScript (NodeJS), Java, C#, Python, PHP
  • Experience in building large-scale, distributed server applications
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and web architecture
  • Familiar with clean code principles and scalable application design
  • Experience with code versioning and collaborative development workflows

    • Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in backend software development
  • Good command of English and Mandarin (required for client communication)
  • Logical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Passion for learning, adaptability, and teamwork

    • Schedule : Monday to Friday

    Work Arrangement : On-site (Kuala Lumpur)

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
