- Responsibilities :
- ## Responsible to lead on the inventory management and administrative tasks for ensuring inventory records integrity is in line with the agreed SOPs and organizational / inventory policy.
- ## Assist Logistics Manager on the overall management of 3PL warehouse operations includes value-added activities, Inventory, Inbound & Outbound operation activities for Finished Goods in line with the agreed SOPs.
- ## To work or liaise with China team on WMS and system related issue or project.
- ## To assist, execute or lead inventory management related projects or initiatives.
- ## Provide general administration and clerical support.
- ## Ensure the physical and system inventory accuracy is always at the highest acceptable level.
- ## Ensure all Inbound and Outbound transactions, and all internal inventory movements are timely and accurately updated in both ERP and WMS.
- ## Responsible for reconciliation and troubleshooting of all inventory related issues.
- ## Assist Logistics Manager to manage stock count activity for MEGA-FG Warehouse, Overflow warehouse and Depots.
- ## New product or promotional product project management, coordination and execution.
- ## Ensure the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new initiatives and procedures related to logistics operations.
- ## Provide technical and operational support to the warehouse team, as well as advise on application of logistics management best practices, systems and procedures. Take initiative and responsibility in management improvement for the logistic function.
- ## Assess existing warehouse operations processes and advise on any corrective measures to be undertaken.
- ## Oversee daily distribution center activities including movement of inventory, electronic documentation, problem solving and physical inventory to ensure all inventory are properly accounted for at all times.
- ## To perform daily reconciliation for Inbound and Outbound transactions for finished goods and ensure it is timely and accurately updated in both ERP and WMS : ## a) Identify reasons for any unmatched transactions and propose actions## that need to be made for correction.## b) Follow up closely with relevant department / 3PL to correct the## unmatched transaction.
- ## To perform an Inventory Health Check Report on daily basis. It covers all System Storage Locations within Logistics areas to ensure all stocks are located correctly in the system.
- ## Control inventory accuracy through timely transactions record keeping and frequent physical stock count.
- ## To lead and ensure our 3PLs follow all procedures and processes in handling inbound and outbound activities in the warehouse.
- ## Lead on stock count activity for MEGA-FG Warehouse, Overflow warehouse and Depots.
- ## Lead 3PL team on managing Aging, LOFO and Damaged stocks.
- ## Provides reports on inventory matters.
- ## To identify issues related to inventory transactions in day-to-day operation activities and work closely with relevant departments and 3PLs to find solutions for troubleshooting and implementing action plans for improvement.
- ## Assist to identify necessary day-to-day operations process improvement opportunities to increase inventory accuracy and to improve the overall effectiveness of Logistics operations.
- ## Perform administrative and office support activities.
- ## To lead efforts in identifying opportunities to further optimize business processes and controls to bring about cost reductions or an improvement in work accuracy.
- ## Liaise with the pertinent parties i.e. Sales, IT, Planning, Export Markets, ASRS and 3PLs.
- ## To assist in creating, implementing, and managing effective warehousing policies, procedures and systems.
- ## Coordinate and follow up on all the ISO and PEFC related matter.
- ## Other duties as assigned.To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications :
- A degree in the related job field.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Malay and Mandarin.
- Proficient in business writing skills.
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Power Point.
- 5 years and above of working exposure or experience in a similar role or logistics field.
