Overview
This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support the achievement of business objectives. The role serves as a vital bridge between management and employees, providing support and solutions for grievances, employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
As a strategic HR partner to store leadership, the HRBP ensures HR practices are aligned with business goals. Also, to drive talent development, compliance, and operational excellence across assigned stores, fostering a high-performance and people-centric culture.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Store Operations team by doing store visits regularly to be able to improve work relationship, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Has strong understanding of Malaysia Labor law and Company Policy. Strong skill in Industrial relations, Labor Management and ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Manage HR operational matters, including transfers, check-in with employees, disciplinary matters, performance management, talent identification and monitoring etc.
- Collaborative closely with stakeholders to develop and strengthen succession planning pipeline of the organization.
- Coach and mentor Store Leaders to help build strong Business Leaders in line with company philosophy to support the development of the business.
- Support onboarding and re-education initiatives to enhance staff capability and independence.
- Partner with internal stakeholder (HR team, store manager, block leader) to support hiring needs, including job ad creation and platform activation.
- Coordinate with store leadership on manpower planning and turnover analysis.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and feedback.
- Promote a positive work environment aligned with UNIQLO’s values and principles by supporting initiatives that enhance employee morale and retention.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to Store Managers and Area Managers, ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with store performance goals and operational priorities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related fields.Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or store operations.Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, training frameworks, and employee relations.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
