Finance Operations Specialist - ShopeePay

- Assist in day to day operations related to customer payments, driver transactions, and merchant settlements.
- Required to perform reconciliation and settlement duties via Payment Bulk Transfer, Local Payment to external parties.
- Monitor processed payments and keep track of any failed settlement and required to perform resubmission.
- Promptly respond to other business stakeholders on inquiries and requests to resolve any delay and / or discrepancies in payment processing to merchants.
- Work with the Customer Support team to handle merchants' and users' inquiries on payment issues.
- Work with the Product and Technical teams to solve problems, identify trends and opportunities on settlement related workflow optimization and implement process improvement initiatives. To continuously improve the accounting process and financial controls in the team.
- Good understanding of the current process and provide constructive feedback on process improvement related to payment operations.
- Collaboration with various leads to review existing or potential operational issues, complaints and queries and ensuring they are addressed promptly.
- To perform any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum 2 years and above working experience preferred. Previous experience in the E-Commerce or FinTech industry would be advantageous.Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc)Knowledge of SQL and Power Query is a plus.Excellent communication skills in email, face-to-face conversation and remote discussion.Ability to work well under pressure, detail oriented and has strong logical and critical thinking to solve problems.Proactive and a good team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.Note : We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
