Assistant Vice President, Retail Treasury Sales – Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad

Overview : This role focuses on overseeing revenue targets, pricing, market updates, and sales support for Retail Treasury products within Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad.

Responsibilities

• Monitor revenue targets for respective product lines.
• Identify improvements to workflow to increase efficiency.
• Assist in pricing an ELCI and market to sales staff.
• Assist in providing FX quotes to sales staff.
• Assist in providing quotes for other new treasury products when they become available.
• Assist in pricing Structured Products (e.g., ELI, KIKO variants, Basket KIKO, Rates Structured, etc.).
• Hedging / squaring DCI deals as part of Business Performance responsibilities.
• Ensure system readiness for new product offerings and perform timely system UAT; assist other users in understanding system usage to support new products.
• Engage sales staff via branch training or joint sales calls; provide market updates to clients through events or joint sales calls.
• Provide commentaries and recommendations to sales staff on Foreign Exchange or other new treasury products.
• Ensure strict compliance with policies and guidelines to meet audit requirements.
• BCP Coordination : participate in yearly BCP exercises, ensure BCP site is functional, update BCP Plan annually to reflect latest arrangements, and participate in treasury system DRP testing.
