We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to lead production planning and drive departmental performance. This role involves close collaboration with Section Heads and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations, timely delivery, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performance reporting, project management, coaching, and strategic planning aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly performance review meetings with Section Heads.
- Prepare and present a yearly KPIs report to senior management.
- Develop and implement quick action plans to resolve urgent issues and maintain departmental performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop project plans to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Monitor project progress through regular engagement sessions and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Address concerns raised by Section Heads and provide coaching to support their development.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Design and implement a yearly skill training program for team members.
- Ensure timely completion of training programs and track progress.
- Develop and execute production plans based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Analyse historical data and market trends to forecast future production needs.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather relevant planning data.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Coordinate material deliveries with procurement and logistics teams.
- Maintain production schedules for efficient resource utilization and timely product delivery.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and production timeline issues.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure smooth production processes.
- Provide weekly updates on production status, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
- Track and analyse KPIs to continuously improve production efficiency.
Job Requirements
