This Senior Sales Manager will generate corporate room business and coordinate customer requirements with other departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and profitability.
About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, within the Sales & Commerce Department the Senior Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales / Director of Commercial Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Seek and develop new potential accounts through direct enquiries.
- Be fully aware of the buying decisions of key accounts and competitive information on rates and volume to allow for strategic planning.
- Monitor daily arrival and reservation reports; stay aware of client presence and make contacts where required.
- Monitor occupancy and average rate (MOKUL).
- Track monthly production for corporate accounts (MNC and non‑MNC) and attend monthly review meetings.
- Maintain accurate production statistics and client files according to required standards.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.Minimum 5 years of hotel experience.Experience in relevant market segment is essential.Strong business communication and selling skills; ability to liaise effectively with corporate accounts.Benefits & Commitment to You
