Job Description
In your new role you will :
- Develop and implement comprehensive Industrial Relations (IR) strategies that foster positive relationships with unions, ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and align with the company’s business objectives.
- Lead collective bargaining negotiations with union representatives to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that balance operational requirements and fair employee treatment.
- Manage day-to-day union relations, including grievance handling, execution of collective bargaining agreements, and ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor and interpret labor law developments, ensuring company practices remain compliant, and provide expert advice to management on the legal and strategic implications of IR decisions.
- Design and deliver training for HR teams and management on industrial relations, labor laws, and union engagement to strengthen organizational capability in these areas.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through open communication, proactive conflict resolution, and consistent employee engagement
- Support ad-hoc Employee Relations (ER) activities, including planning and execution of ER-related events and initiatives.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have :
Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field, preferably in Human Resources.Minimum 10 years of comprehensive HR experience, with proven ability in managing Industrial Relations (IR) and Union matters.Strong understanding and practical application of Labour and Employment Laws.Skilled in grievance handling and complaint resolution, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities with strong problem-solving skills.Demonstrated leadership, resilience, and personal effectiveness, with a track record of driving HR initiatives that support organizational goals.#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
