Senior Manager Employee Relations

Job Description

In your new role you will :

• Develop and implement comprehensive Industrial Relations (IR) strategies that foster positive relationships with unions, ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and align with the company’s business objectives.
• Lead collective bargaining negotiations with union representatives to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that balance operational requirements and fair employee treatment.
• Manage day-to-day union relations, including grievance handling, execution of collective bargaining agreements, and ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Monitor and interpret labor law developments, ensuring company practices remain compliant, and provide expert advice to management on the legal and strategic implications of IR decisions.
• Design and deliver training for HR teams and management on industrial relations, labor laws, and union engagement to strengthen organizational capability in these areas.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through open communication, proactive conflict resolution, and consistent employee engagement
• Support ad-hoc Employee Relations (ER) activities, including planning and execution of ER-related events and initiatives.
