Position Title : Network Engineer IV (Design)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to architect a world-class global network infrastructure that aligns with our strategic principles. You will translate complex business requirements into cost-effective, scalable, secure, and high-performing network designs that support our transformation roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design & Governance : Accountable for design governance, reviewing and approving all proposed changes to ensure alignment with architectural standards, security policies, and operational requirements.
- Standards : Propose high-level and low-level designs, including topology, hardware standards, software standards, and configuration. Manage logistics for equipment delivery, rack, and stack.
- Engineering : Work with OEMs to identify, develop, and implement new networking technologies and concepts.
- Project Technical Leadership : Lead and deliver critical infrastructure projects, such as data center construction and regional / woman WAN / MAN connectivity, overseeing all phases from planning to operational handover.
- Project Management : Manage projects of similar scale and complexity, coordinating stakeholders, external vendors, suppliers, and internal IT teams across multiple geographies.
Job Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.At least 6 years of experience in network planning, build, or operation functions within a global financial services institution, with at least 3 years in build.CCIE professional certification required.ITIL certification is a plus, with practical knowledge in ITIL processes (Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Lifecycle, Threat & Vulnerability Management).Expertise in routers and switches, and hands‑on experience with enterprise network components (SDN, SDWAN, WAP, WLC, ISE, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Proxy, Load Balancer, VPN, Firewall, IPS / IDS, WAF, NAC, Sniffer).zScaler certification is a plus; practical experience with zScaler is desirable.Expert hands‑on experience in network protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, VTP, VPC, STP, HSRP, UDLD).Scripting skills (Python, Perl) a plus.Basic to intermediate cloud networking (Azure or GCP) a plus.Project management experience delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Commercial and stakeholder influence skills a plus (change window).Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft productivity, collaboration suite, and AI products.Working Hours & Travel
Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Production network changes are allowed only during the business window. Candidates should be prepared to work during non‑business hours for implementation or supporting activities. The role typically requires supervisory oversight; hands‑on non‑business hour work is less frequent.
