About the role
As an Automation Engineer at Central Medicare Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in driving the implementation and optimisation of automated systems across our state‑of‑the‑art medical facilities in Teluk Intan, Perak. This full‑time position will see you working alongside our talented engineering team to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the company’s continued growth and innovation.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and implement automated control systems and processes for our medical equipment and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and streamline workflows
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Conduct regular system testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest automation technologies and industry best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues on automation‑related matters
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our automation strategies and roadmaps
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldPreferable with more than 3 years of experience in automation engineering in the glove manufacturing sectorProficient in designing, programming, and integrating automated control systems using PLC, HMI, and other industrial automation technologiesStrong problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teamsFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocolsDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat we offer
