Primary Objective :
Deliver on-site technical support and engineering services for banking IT systems in
collaboration with a telecommunications partner, ensuring optimal system performance, security,and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide hands-on support for banking IT infrastructure : servers, networks, workstations,
and security appliances. Manage troubleshooting, patching, maintenance, upgrades,
and preventive care to ensure high availability and reliability.
Work with Telco partners to support connectivity, network provisioning, and integration of
Telco-provided services (e.g., MPLS circuits, leased lines, mobile connectivity) into
banking systems.
Act as the primary on-site escalation point (SPOC) for IT incidents. Ensure rapid
resolution, conduct root-cause analyses, and record detailed incident reports—including
RCA documentation for major issues.
Facilitate system upgrades and changes by coordinating with IT teams and
stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and minimal
service disruption.
Monitor system health using tools (e.g., SNMP, SolarWinds). Perform preventive
maintenance and trend analysis to preempt operational issues.
Implement and monitor security policies. Ensure that systems comply with industry
standards such as PCI DSS and internal audit requirements.
Maintain accurate technical documentation—network diagrams, system configurations,
change logs, escalation procedures—and provide regular status and incident reports.
