Purpose of the Role
This position is responsible for day-to-day demand supply forecasting, replenishment planning, development and execution of KPIs for Malaysia and Brunei markets.
What You'll Do
- Key contact person to clients in areas related to demand forecast, supply planning, PO placement, material management and shipping arrangement.
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to drive accurate demand through analysis of historical sales data, market trends, new products launch, marketing campaigns and promotional timeline.
- Plan forecast supply and shipment of stocks based on demand from commercial team to ensure consistent stock availability and avoid stockouts.
- Analyze demand trends, identify opportunities, highlight risks and make recommendations to management to improve forecast accuracy.
- Develop reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including forecast accuracy and inventory holding.
- Review short expiry stocks and work closely with Sales & Marketing to deplete near expiry stocks to minimize write-offs.
- Collaborate with cross functional departments (Client Service, Warehouse, Regulatory and Finance) to ensure alignment with the needs of business.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and responsiveness within the supply demand functions.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
