Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing and RFQ of electronics and mechanical parts for new, existing projects and cost reduction programs.
  • Perform BOM consolidation, review on lead time and cost reduction for proposal to customer.
  • Handle technical / commercial reviews, clarifications with various departments and customers.
  • Develop and coordinate the Project Schedule Plan from the commencement of project to the first mass production with various departments.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of projects from bidding, first article inspection (FAI) to final handover.
  • Manage supplier base to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance.
  • Generate purchase order, expedite, re-schedule parts and manage inventory for First Article Run.
  • Attend conference calls and give presentation to customer when necessary.
  • Upload data in SAP system for data processing.
  • Prepare and update reports when necessary.
  • Other related task as per assigned by superior.

Qualifications

  • At least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Engineering or others related field. Minimum 1 year experience in electronics / manufacturing field.
  • Knowledge in mechanical parts, PCBA, project management in manufacturing or experience in electronic components sourcing will be an added advantage.
  • Well verse with Microsoft Excel and SAP System.
  • Positive, result-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English with good presentation skills.
  • Able to travel when required.
