Information Technology Security Administrator
The IT Security Administrator (ITSA) is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's IT infrastructure by managing and administering user accounts, access permissions, and various IT systems. The ITSA plays a critical role in protecting sensitive information and maintaining compliance with security policies.
Key Responsibilities
- User Account and Access Management : Create, modify, and delete user accounts across systems. Manage lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and role changes. Administer badge in / out accounts in system.
- Password and Security Policy Management : Reset and troubleshoot password issues, enforcing strong password policies. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards across all systems.
- System Administration and Support : Utilize the Remedy system for tracking, resolving, and documenting IT security incidents and requests. Ensure that all systems are securely managed and up-to-date with the latest security patches and configurations. Regularly review and audit access permissions to maintain compliance with security policies.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation of account management procedures, system configurations, and security incidents. Generate and review reports on user access, security incidents, and system health.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement : Work closely with IT teams to resolve security issues and implement new security measures. Stay informed on security trends, threats, and best practices to recommend and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.2+ years of experience in IT security administration or a similar role.Proficiency in managing IT systems including Remedy, CyberArk and etc.Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.Experience with account and password management tools and systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
