The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) is an agency under the Ministry of Health Malaysia responsible for facilitating and promoting Malaysia as a unique destination for world-class healthcare services, and to develop industry sustainability through Public-Private Partnerships. Our vision is to make Malaysia the leading global destination for healthcare travel.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute all aspects of penetrating, developing and strengthening markets to meet MHTC's objectives.
- Work closely with Marketing Manager in planning and delivery of effective marketing programs that achieve company objectives.
- Assist in executing a variety of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, expand partners and distribution networks, including day-to-day execution across campaigns, promotions, online and on-ground events.
- Collaborate with team members to execute marketing campaigns (online and offline), lead brainstorming sessions to plan marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
- Meet with stakeholders to plan and implement marketing campaigns for brand-building and lead generation aligned with company goals and targets.
- Gather, analyse and present brand and competitor insights, trends, and report performance of marketing campaigns to gain insight and assess against goals.
- Assist in establishing positioning, identifying target audiences, and developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Support in managing Malaysia International Referral Centre / agents where applicable.
- Support the development and growth of the market database for remarketing purposes.
- Monitor budget utilization, participate in events, document business processes, and provide additional support.
- Assist with physical interpretation as required by MHTC.
Requirements
Hold a Degree in Business or a Marketing-related degree or equivalent.Minimum of 5-6 years related working experience.Experience in healthcare and hospital industry.Team player with good interpersonal and project implementation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, English and Malay is a must.Proficiency in additional languages, such as Hakka or Cantonese, is an added advantage.Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.Metrics-driven marketing mindset with eye for creativity.Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy is an advantage.Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Willing / able to travel frequently.Application and Insights
