Junior Chemist

About the role

Join our thriving team at Miracon (M) Sdn Bhd as a full‑time Junior Chemist based in Balakong, Selangor. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to our commitment to quality and innovation.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist senior chemists in conducting chemical tests and quality control analyses on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and test samples following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., pH meters, spectrophotometers, titrators).
• Accurately record and analyze data from lab tests; report any deviations from specifications.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and observations in accordance with company and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO).
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing lab setting.
• Support the lab team with general duties such as inventory management, equipment calibration, and housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to support manufacturing goals and troubleshoot issues as needed.
