Overview
The job description seeks candidates with both business skills and technical IT knowledge and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure. You\'ll work closely with internal teams and vendors to provide payment systems support in all areas of applications, including testing, design and analysis. You\'ll have the opportunity to develop and implement procedures, policies, and processes to ensure and improve system quality. In this role, you will monitor payment system processes to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents by providing a 24x7 support model. You\'ll also optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency, as well as enhancing user satisfaction with our payment systems, by improving usability, accessibility and value provided.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Monitoring
- Provide primary support for payment system applications
- Aggressively respond to service requests
- Manage and coordinate the SIT and UAT with technical, testing team and PayNet in according to the testing strategy
- Escalate issues to application vendors and keep track of the issues to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate and deploy application fixes into Test and Production Environments
- Ensure compliance of payment system in line with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with the respective vendors that supply the off-the-shelf applications in the new and upgrade projects
- Troubleshoot or escalate technical issues, working to provide solutions quickly
- Maintain technical documentation
Incident & Problem Management
Liaise with respective team and vendor to ensure incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and professional mannerParticipate and ensure RCA (root cause analysis) activities on customer impacting incidents are executed and action items are assigned / completedProvide expertise and support during critical incidents, interfacing with all impacted groups to better manage the messageRequired Skill and Qualification
A recognized Degree or Higher Diploma or its equivalent in Computer Science or IT-related disciplinesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skill with ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels within the bankHigh ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationMin 8 years’ experience, especially in Banking Industry handling payment related systemsInvolved in a full life cycle application in a distributed System design and development environmentPossess wide exposure in supporting IT applicationsKnowledge and experience in Linux, Unix and ORACLE, MSSQL DB are an advantageHighly self-motivated, dedicated, proactive and versatile. 24X7 commitment is neededAbility to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment and embrace new technologyExcellent communication and coordination skillsSeniority level
