Responsibilities
- Maintain and increase relationship balances, cross-sell banking products, partner with the team to refer potential investment referrals, and acquire new clients.
- Deliver an excellent client experience by supporting clients’ service requests.
- Perform periodic reviews and updates of clients’ profiles.
- Understand client needs and match them with the appropriate set of products and services.
- Provide timely responses to client service requests received via telephone or email; channel such requests to the appropriate service or back-office teams.
- Meet or exceed goals by increasing and retaining deposits and cross-selling additional banking products; support client requests for credit cards.
- Fully responsible for Know-Your-Customer (KYC) activities, including periodic reviews of customer profiles; collaborate with AML and Compliance to ensure risks are properly assessed and managed; complete AML alerts within required time frames.
- Understand AML risks associated with client relationships; recommend exiting relationships when appropriate.
- Update client KYC profiles throughout the client lifecycle as information changes.
- Execute client contact campaigns as defined by Sales Management and proactively identify client needs to deepen relationships.
- Complete all required trainings pertaining to the function in a timely manner.
- Assess risk for business decisions, uphold the firm’s reputation, and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations; escalate and report control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service.High School diploma or equivalent.Experience within financial services (banking, insurance, investments).Basic understanding of Know-Your-Customer and AML concepts applicable to the Financial Services industry.Demonstrated influencing and sales skills.Knowledge of the bank's products.Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.Tele-sales aptitude with persuasive / pitch skills; customer service-oriented mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; tele-sales capabilities.Proactive in preventing and managing customer complaints.Additional Requirements
