The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute decarbonization strategies to reduce Scope 2 emissions across all operational facilities.
• Conduct energy audits and baseline assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement renewable energy options including on-site generation (e.g., solar PV), off-site procurement (e.g., PPAs, RECs), and grid decarbonization tactics.
• Lead feasibility studies and ROI analyses for energy efficiency projects and low-carbon technology integration.
• Collaborate with all processes stakeholder to implement energy-saving and electrification initiatives.
• Monitor, track, report and analyze Scope 2 GHG emissions performance against internal KPIs, corporate targets and their gaps.
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments, industry trends, and best practices in energy management and general carbon reporting (GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, etc.).
• Develop internal training and awareness programs to engage stakeholders in decarbonization efforts.
