Requirements :
Qualifications & Skills Required
Diploma (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Proven experience (ideally 1 – 2 years) in an HR operational role covering recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
Good knowledge of HR principles, employment / labour regulations in Malaysia, and general HR best practices.
Strong organisational and data-management skills, detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
Demonstrated ability or willingness to mediate staff relations issues, and to handle conflict in a professional manner.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally familiar with HRIS or HR database systems.
Proactive and independent working style, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Preferred : Experience in the retail sector or multi-location / staff-heavy environment; prior exposure to employee engagement activities or staff-relations support.
Preferred : Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

We are looking for a proactive and versatile Human Resources Executive to support our HR department in delivering effective, compliant, and people-focused HR services. In this role you will help manage recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding, maintain employee records, administer HR operations, assist in performance and training initiatives, and help resolve interpersonal or staff-relations issues. You will be a key part of maintaining a healthy workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle : job postings, sourcing, short-listing, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and onboarding new employees.
Maintain and update employee records, HR database / personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
Administer HR operations such as attendance / leave tracking, benefits administration, payroll liaison, and ensure all HR processes are executed properly.
Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies & procedures, ensuring compliance with labour law and company standards.
Support performance management activities : probation reviews, annual appraisals, training needs identification, and learning & development programmes.
Facilitate and coordinate employee engagement activities, staff welfare initiatives, workplace culture programmes and internal communications.
Handle internal staff relations and conflicts, mediating where necessary, working with management to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
Generate HR reports and metrics (turnover, recruitment pipeline, headcount) and present insights for decision-making.
Stay current on local employment laws and HR best practices, and contribute to process improvement in the HR function.
