We are seeking a warm and enthusiastic Reservations Manager to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will ensure every reservation is handled with care and precision, while using your charm and skills to maximize room sales through proactive selling and up-selling techniques. What will I be doing?
- Guest Service Excellence : Deliver exceptional service by proactively anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences; respond to inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency to ensure a memorable experience.
- Communication Skills : Demonstrate clear, confident, and effective communication across all levels; engage professionally with guests, team members, and cross-functional departments. Proficiency in multiple languages is valuable.
- Attention to Detail : Maintain a high level of accuracy in managing reservations, special requests, and guest records; ensure precise documentation and reporting to support smooth daily operations.
- Sales & Upselling : Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction while contributing to revenue growth; identify and act on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Address guest concerns with urgency and care; demonstrate proactive and creative problem-solving to exceed expectations and enhance the guest experience.
- Technical Proficiency : Use reservation systems and hotel management software effectively; adapt quickly to new technologies to improve efficiency.
- Leadership & Team Management : Inspire, guide, and support the reservations team to achieve service excellence; provide ongoing training and development to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Market Knowledge : Stay aware of industry trends and competitor offerings; contribute insights to initiatives that attract new guests and build loyalty.
- Financial Acumen : Manage departmental budgets, forecast demand, and analyze data to optimize performance and support business objectives.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrates a strong track record in reservations or revenue management within a prestigious 5-star luxury international hotel chain, with proven expertise in delivering high standards of service and operational excellence.Familiarity with pre-opening environments; experience in hotel pre-openings is a notable advantage.Effective leadership and team management; ability to foster a collaborative environment focused on growth, accountability, and high performance.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with guests, team members, and stakeholders; ability to build strong relationships for smooth operations.Proficiency in reservation systems and revenue management tools to support accurate forecasting and optimize room inventory.Ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic decisions that drive revenue optimization and guest satisfaction.Customer-focused approach prioritizing guest satisfaction with personalized service and proactive support.Work Location and Details
