The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s social media strategies across multiple platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, monitoring performance, and ensuring brand consistency to enhance the organization’s online presence and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute social media campaigns for government ministries and others.
- Develop creative and informative content (posts, visuals, captions, short videos) in line with campaign goals and key messages.
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and ensure consistent brand tone and visual identity.
- Monitor social media engagement, analyze performance metrics, and prepare periodic reports for internal and client review.
- Coordinate with creative, copywriting, and public relations teams to ensure cohesive and impactful communication delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, or related fields.Minimum 1–3 years of experience in managing social media accounts (agency or in-house).Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube).Strong writing skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.Proficiency in managing social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, Hootsuite).Creative eye for visuals and understanding of audience engagement trends.Familiarity with government communication tone and sensitivity in public messaging.Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) are a plus.Able to work under tight deadlines and multitask efficiently.Seniority Level
