Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Executive who will play a key role in managing the full set of accounts and supporting the company’s financial reporting processes. This role ensures compliance with MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations while providing critical financial data to support informed business decisions, audits, and tax compliance. The Accounts Executive will also enhance operational efficiency by strengthening internal controls and assisting with budgeting and cost monitoring.
What you'll be doing
- Monthly and Year-End Financial Accounts
Process accounting transactions promptly and maintain a full set of accounts accurately.
Review monthly operational accounts and recommend corrective actions to resolve accounting issues.Close monthly accounts in accordance with MPERS and tax regulations.Monitor and reconcile prepayments, deposits, accruals, receivables, and payables.Ensure e-invoice compliance.Provide support and training on accounting procedures.Maintain the fixed asset register and documentation.Streamline accounting workflows and documentation processes.Yearly Accounting FunctionsAssist in reviewing annual and revised budgets.
Prepare for statutory audits and tax computations.Perform periodic inventory control and stock audits.Any other roles and areas which company deemed necessaryWhat we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Knowledge of MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations.Minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.Proficient in Autocount Accounting Software and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge in ERP or plantation software system is an added advantage.Integrity, initiative and self-motivated with high emotional intelligence.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Willing to work extra hours and travel when required.What we offer
