Overview
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including reservations, guest service, and dining flow.
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to provide authentic Japanese / Basic hospitality.
- Coordinate closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth execution of the omakase experience.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, ambience and compliance with health & safety standards.
- Control costs, manage stock levels and ensure accurate daily reporting.
- Support marketing and promotional activities to grow brand presence.
Job Requirements
Applicant must possess at least a Diploma in Food & Beverage or equivalent.Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of F&B operations experience and proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in fine dining or Japanese cuisine.Knowledge of Japanese dining culture and omakase etiquette is an advantage.Ability to manage operations efficiently and deliver a premium guest experience.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Excellent operational, administrative and interpersonal skills.Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.Able to work on shifts, weekend and public holidays.Applicant must be willing and able to work in The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur.Applicant must be willing and able to work in a restaurant that serves alcohol.Package
