Senior Executive, Commercial Lines Underwriting (Liability) MSIG Malaysia WP. Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Perform and support the operations and activities in ensuring the profitability of the Liability Portfolio.

Assess all aspects of technical underwriting, policy wordings review, risk improvements inclusive of Risk Referrals approval recommendation on all new and renewals for Liability class of insurances.

Assist in providing professional advice, guidance and support to Business Units and Branch personnel in all aspects of Liability underwriting management and operations.

Assist in performing market research and development work of Liability insurances through analyzing market needs and formulating profitable and sellable products.

Assist in coordinating outside department’s resources, i.e. claims trends, loss ratio and relevant reports. Work closely with Claims Department and Business Units to combat adverse trends and for remedial actions.

Job Requirements :

Degree holder preferably in Insurance.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Liability Underwriting.

Good knowledge in underwriting of Liability insurances and risk assessment.

Good market knowledge in Liability insurance products.

Good innovative skill in terms of new products developments and offer alternative solution for risk acceptance.
