Job Description / Key Skills
Good knowledge of Procurement Global Best PracticesProven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement OfficerEffective communication skills, knowledge of local language(s) is a plusExperience of managing Procurement activities in ASEAN regionGood knowledge / exposure of ERP(s) or Procure to Pay toolsVendor Management : discover strong suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships, maintain relationships, periodic supplier evaluationNegotiation skills : ability to negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous termsOrder Management : finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, ensuring best practicesContract Management : knowledge of agreement terms, examine and test existing contracts; perform risk management for supply contracts and agreementsTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCollaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the companyForesee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clientsExpect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategiesControl spend and build a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costsAptitude in decision‑making and working with numbers, experience in collecting and analysing dataStrong leadership capabilitiesBachelor’s Degree with an MBA preferredAny specialization / certification in Procurement & Supply chain management an added advantageProfiles and Attributes
