VP, On‑Ground Marketing & Activation
The VP of On‑Ground Marketing & Activation, based in Petaling Jaya, will design, implement, and monitor on‑ground marketing and activation campaigns to grow Bjak's user base across ASEAN. This role leads the on‑ground marketing team, works closely with marketing, product, sales, PR, and digital marketing, and aligns initiatives with business targets.
What You’ll Do
- Develop comprehensive on‑ground marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and brand positioning.
- Lead and inspire a high‑performing on‑ground marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of on‑ground marketing campaigns and activations to ensure they align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
- Take charge of organizing and managing events, sponsorships, and activations to maximize brand exposure and customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams—including Sales, PR, and Digital Marketing—to ensure seamless integration of on‑ground activities with overall marketing strategies.
- Effectively manage budgets for on‑ground marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.
- Implement measurement tools to assess the effectiveness of on‑ground marketing efforts and provide regular reports to key stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.8+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leading on‑ground marketing and activation campaigns.Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team to achieve desired outcomes.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or banking is a plus.Fluent in English.What You’ll Get
