Job Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production operations to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and efficient throughput.
Manage SMT team schedules, training, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure SMT machines are properly maintained, calibrated, and utilized efficiently.
Work closely with planning, engineering, and QA teams to streamline workflows and resolve production bottlenecks.
Review production reports, yields, downtime, and implement improvement plans.
Enforce compliance with IPC standards and internal quality management systems.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for machine, process, or quality issues.
Monitor and manage SMT component inventory and material control.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years' experience in PCB assembly, with a strong background in SMT operations.
Technical Skills :
Proficient in SMT production equipment and technologies (Solder Paste Printer, AOI, SPI, X-ray inspection).
In-depth knowledge of PCB assembly processes and SMT line operations.
Leadership & Management :
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team.
Strong organizational and production planning skills.
Ability to maintain high quality and efficiency under pressure.
Problem Solving :
Strong troubleshooting skills for machine and process issues.
Data-driven approach to improving yield and efficiency.
Communication & Coordination :
Effective coordination with cross-functional departments (planning, engineering, QA).
Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
Languages :
Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
