transport supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible to manage the delivery of goods to the customer.
• Responsible to execute logistic tasks within stated guidelines and policies.
• Coordinating with relevant parties such as Sales Department, Warehouse and External Transporters to resolve deliveries related matters.
• Efficient transport planning and ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner.
• Manage customer billing & coordinate with finance.
• Monitor and track all deliveries and trucks via GPS.
• Undertake physical inspection of vehicle.
• Coordinate with panel workshops for breakdown and maintenance related matters and hands-on if the need arises. Technical knowledge of trucks is an advantage.
• Liaise with local government agencies such as JPJ, APAD & PDRM for matters related to Permits, Roadtax and Summons.
• Arrange documents for inspections, registering and transfer of ownership at Puspakom & JPJ.
• Maintain transport record including drivers license, GDL, maintenance and I-Cop requirements.
• To perform any assignment from superior from time to time.
