Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for being the main customer contact, investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, collect and compile statistical quality data & prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Assist to maintain company Quality Management System in accordance to certification requirement (ISO 14001 & IATF 16949).
• To interface with customer, supplier, other process engineering and production personnel in resolving quality problems.
• Requirement for analyse engineering specifications and monitoring operational processes to develop and install quality control methods, practices and procedures as to apply on customer\'s requirements / IATF 16949.
• Provide proactive leadership in the identification of issues that affect overall product quality.
• Troubleshoot across the system to problem triage and conduct root cause analyses.
• Ensure that proper quality methodologies and tools are applied for the organizations (eg : 8D, FMEA, 5WHY, SPC, MSA and other related tools).
• Knowledgeable and experiences of 5 core tools in IATF 16949 requirements.
